Volkswagen Golf Mk1 EV Restomod

This year Volkswagen is celebrating the 50th birthday of its most legendary model, the Golf. It was launched for the first time back in May of 1974 and until today more than 37 million Golfs have been sold across 8 generations. The German manufacturer says that the next generation of Golf will be a cheap all-electric model and that there won't be another generation of the C-Segment ID.3 electric model.
Here's how I imagine an all-electric Golf, with an old-school design inspired by the 1974 Golf Mk1. Yes or no?
